Filling the void

I know this is really a long gap but off recently I feel like something is missing from my life. I was even considering of writing a diary off lately and then left it off as it didn’t seem an idea that good. Then while pondering over my college days blogging came intro my mind. So I decided to write again. This time its serious and I have set myself goals of at least a count of two posts per month going forward. I have learned and experienced a lot of things which I will be sharing with you guys. Some might be personal, some might be technical, some might be finance and how can I leave football here 🙂 . Personal finance was that one subject which I myself feel to have learned a lot in these three years of time. So guys wait up for my writing.

What’s all the fuzz about the Railway Budget?

Can you imagine that it has been ten years since the last time that Indian Railways had hiked its prices? So even from a common man point of view the rise in prices of train tickets is a welcome one. After all, all this money is going to go to the government which can be used in useful reform steps (if any) taken by the government. The very point that TMC itself is opposing the budget and had written to Manmohan Singh for the recall of minister and appointement of a replacement one shows how mean is the politicians. We should not forget that these are the same people in power who rose the petrol and diesel prices ‘n’ number of times from in the last couple of years. If u look at the below chart you will be able to find out that the prices have hiked up a lot in the last two years say nearly at least 40% increase.

If the politicians are really concerned about the people who are in the lower end of the poverty line then they shouldn’t have actually done this in the first place. And the central government really took no step towards the reduction of bus fares in each of the states which are run by the state governments. They come up with their usual statement like it is the state policy and only the state government needs to deal with it. If that is the case what is the need of a central government in place which should actually have the control over the state governments. I am actually surprised by the fact that Manmohan Singh was too quick to react to the situation (normally being a silent actor in most of the country’s actions. I doubt many a times who is the actual Prime Minister of the countryJ). The proposal given by Trivedi is actually convincing and not to affect too much of the people. The people who are opposing are the oldage ones who just cannot wait to land their hands upon their powers. I think it is high time that we people take some steps in the forthcoming elections and restrict these stupid guys to take charge of

Slumdog – The real slum

slumdog_millionaire_movie_imageSlumdog Millionaire is one of the best movies I have seen in recent times. It shows the exact life of a real Indian slum and the difficulties he has faced in the life. The movie goes on like this . A slum from Mumbai(Jamal) participates in the “Who wants to become a millionare” and goes on to win the show. While the squeeze is put on Jamal we are inundated with flashbacks to his childhood to see how he came to his current predicament. As a child Jamal grew up with his brother Salim and mother in the slums of India and the boys underwent harsh treatment largely sometimes because of his faith. Unspeakable horrors confront both boys and those images and pent-up fears/hostilities have a clear impactslumdog-millionaire-fl-01 on their teen years and adult lives. Love, romance and lust also enter into the equation as a young orphan named Latika seems to leave an indelible impression on the lads, and older grown ups as she ages. Full of violence and tense moments Slumdog Millionaire comes up a winner, turning out to be one of the best movies of the year. And to add flavour to the movie the background score is also good. The movie is worth a watch in theatre. So please spare some time and watich this movie in theatre as soon as possible.

Space not enough

Yippe upgraded my system once again and this time it is the Harddisk that got some attention. I bought a new 500gb harddisk. With this upgrade only my motherboard and the processor are the same since i bought my desktop around two years back. Think this is the last update that is being done to my first PC since I am having plans for buying a laptop next. This is my configuration as of now

  • Intel Pentium 4 3.06 Ghz ( this was the best when I bought my PC two years back though I know that it has been outdated a lot now)
  • 2 GB DDR 2 RAM
  • 830 GB Hard Disk ( 500+250+80 a total of three HDD)
  • and not but not the least a 7300 NVIDIA Graphic card

Even this huge space is not enough for me as it is getting filled fast. Think it will take at the most a month to fill out this new hard disk. Can any of the readers spare me some space in your hard disk. 🙂 (Rombha overa irukko.. free )

Home after six months

Due to the hectic rains that slashed the state my exam got postponed and so I had to leave my hostel to home after a long time. It was around six months that I went to my home and so was eager to go there. The journey was by train and something was telling me that this journey is gonna be a completely unforgettable one. Yes it turned out be unforgettable one but not in the way I thought (Nan vaaranam aayiram padam pathuttu athula vara samerra reddy mathiri yarachum oru ponnu namakku kedaikkumnu nenachaen  ana nadanthathu ennamo vera). Nanum manasa thalara vidama thedi pathaen but onnum sikkala . So after getting dejected I slept off. I will tell you what actually happened that made me write this post. I had booked an e-ticket for the journey and it had asked for a verification of the identity of the person. I too showed the driving license to the TTR and he too accepted it. After reaching my town while getting out of the station a man came and asked for the tickets. Pothuva namma oorla tickete check panna matangale ippa ethukku panranga apadinu nenachaen. Then came the headache. After showing the ticket when I was about to leave he asked for the identification and when I provided it he had a glimpse of it and said that it cannot be accepted. I was shocked. He told that it was not original and that he cannot have allow without paying the fine. Nanum namma oor thane lanjam vangittu vitruvanganu nenachaen. I gave as many reasons as possible and could not find him come into my way. I wasn’t alone there were a couple of other people too who were like me. Some of them tried to bribe him and leave but he didn’t accept. Nan nenachaen ‘ enna kodumai saravanan ithu ooruku 6 masam kalichu varom varappave selava?’ . Atlast I gave him a lame excuse that I didn’t have the money. All he said that he will give the slip and I had to pay the fine in court. I cursed myself and him and then asked him what the fine was. He told that it was the ticket charge plus 250Rs. (Ada pavingala tickete 400rs ithula plus 250 veraya?) Seri poi tholannu I gave him the money and left the place. The lesson I learnt is to take original identifications with me and the money I paid for it was more than 1000rs. That meant that I had paid more than double the charge for reaching the home. So friends atleast you don’t do this mistake. Neengalchum thirunthugapa . Catch u back soon .

Online Robbers

I have been working for the last few months about how to earn money online and atlast found a way too and saw some money out of it. I thought that this seems to be a nice way of making some money and atlast decided to put in more efforts on it. The method is very cool. All I need to do is that I have to write some reviews about their products and they fund me with the money. All seemed to be easy and I was happy that money was getting credited into my online account and I was making big plans for it. There are a lot of sites for which I write articles like this. But now only have figured out that there are a just a couple of websites that really pay. There is a site called smorty which is a big ****er and it is from him that I got my money robbed. This site provides offers which are nothing but the advertisements for which I get paid early in the morning say around 3 or 4 a.m. I also used to get up in the morning(nan en valkailaye ithana manikku enthiruchathe kedayathu) and write offers for more than a month. And also eventually the amount started getting credited in my online account(enna nane thatti kuduthukitaen for my wonderful job). But there seems to be no payment from them. I started checking out in detail about this website and there were a few complaints about it here and there in a couple of forums but i said to myself businessna ithellam satharnam and i waited for my payment. Then came the shock to me yesterday when they said that the blog in which i had written all the advertisement was not meeting their personal requirements and so the have said that I am not qualified to recieve the payment. Appa than enakku kaduppa vanthuchu. I was eligible to recieve 400$ of money by then. Apuram enna mayirukku nan ennoda blogla ivanga advertisementa one month potrunthaen. If they seem to have found that my blog is not eligible then why the hell must they provide me with the offers and waste my time. Enna than kasu invest pannalanalum this is some kind of stealing my work. Eppadi ellam yoshichu makkal kitta iruntha panatha adikuranga. Room pottu yosipangalo?

My Birthday

Hi viewers, today is my birthday. It has been 20 years since I came to this earth. As I have told u already am very happy today as I have got the biggest birthday prize one could get. Yes I consider the job of CTS as a birthday present and still am happy on this. I am in my home now and I returned here a couple of days ago. I am visiting my home town after a period of six months and as usual had a very tiresome journey back home. I travelled for 16 hours non-stop in a bus to reach my home and everyone in my home was happy to receive me.
I know that I haven’t posted a couple of days and this was due to the tight schedule I had at home. I went to visit my friends and shared my experiences about the campus placements which I had written before here and we had a good time. They too were happy as most of them had been placed in different companies and we had plans for treats but I couldn’t join them as I was on a very tight schedule back home with a lot of personal works to be done with the home.
Today morning as every other birthday got wishes from my friends in phone calls and went to the temple with my dad (acting like a good boy). I lost faith completely on god but I don’t have the guts to say this to my dad so I had to accompany him to the temple and returned home after the poojas there. My cousin who is just a year younger than me had come to my home for his semester holidays. So I and my cousin went out to the restaurant in the evening and I gave a treat for my birthday to him.
Thus my birthday went on smoothly and I can read your minds waiting to know about the presents that I would have received. I asked my parents for a new mobile for both as a birthday present and also for getting placed and am to get a Sony Ericsson mobile in a couple of days. I will tell you about that mobile once I get that mobile in my hand. Other than this I didn’t get any presents this time. Bye viewers have a good time and enjoy yourself.
